Here at Chester le Street Cricket Club we have a fantastic venue that could make that special occasion just perfect for you.

We can cater for disco parties through to three course meals for up to 120 people with your own choice of room and layout therefore offering all the services you would expect from a top function venue.

Our primary function suite is the newly built Castle View Lounge which boasts stunning views from the Juliet balconies across the picturesque cricket field and up to Lumley Castle. The Castle View Lounge is an adaptable suite that can be arranged to your exact needs, we offer disco facilities tailored to your requirements from our in house DJ. The lounge has its own bar facilities which if not required can go unnoticed. This truly breathtaking room really can be yours for that special occasion.

The Turnbull Lounge is our secondary function suite, although not as large as the Castle View Lounge there is still plenty to offer with its own dedicated bar and entrance area as well as the same stunning views. The Turnbull lounge is ideal for smaller functions of up to 60 people, making it the perfect venue for a Christening or naming ceremonies as well as a family gathering.

For a private booking there is no booking fee and our catering options start from £7pp and they range from finger buffets through to fork buffets and three course meals. All our menus are adaptable to your individual requirements and sit down meals can be arranged entirely to suit your needs. Our buffet selections and  sample menus is available below.
We are proud to boast an in house DJ to offer Disco facilities if you require them, the DJ will liaise with you prior to your function to set up a play list or you can leave it to him to provide the perfect sound track to your evening. Should you require the suite to be decorated we can offer table decorations, table cloths and helium balloons to your exact requirements.
