A huge thank you to everyone who came to our fireworks event last weekend. This year was our 30th annual display and we can safely say it was our most successful event yet! It was great to be able to mark our 30th anniversary with such style.
Thousands of people joined us on Saturday night, many of whom have supported the club for years. We always try to run community events that bring everyone together, and we achieved just that. The response from the local community was amazing and we are delighted that so many enjoy Bonfire Night with us every single year. Thank you all for your support throughout the years, and we are especially grateful so many of you joined us despite the rain shower. We were very lucky that the weather held out for the rest of the night.
G2 Fireworks did a fantastic job with the fireworks, putting on a display that was action packed from the word go. Feedback on the display has been great.
A huge thank you to the dozens of volunteers who helped us throughout the whole day, from the set up and preparations, until the clear up at the very end of the night. The night would not have been the success it was without all your help. Particular thanks go out to Rocky and Dave who were superb as always.
We also want to thank Dark Steam Division for the excellent quality hot drinks that were very popular, and Salus Medical for ensuring our event was safe for all our attendees.
Dave Cantwell comments: “To be able to celebrate our 30th anniversary with one of our best attended displays was a fantastic highlight. We pride ourselves on how our firework display has been a community event within the town and it’s appreciated by so many. The unanimous feedback from people who came along was that this was the best display they’d ever seen, some saying it was better than the ones they’ve seen in amusement parks. To see so many people enjoying the facilities the club provides is the reason why we put this display on and we’re looking forward to putting smiles on people’s faces with our display for at least the next 30 years.”
